Flowrescent was commissioned to create the branding and visual identity for The Burlam Bear, a new bar, restaurant, and music venue. The project aimed to capture the owner's passions for music, cooking, and socialising, establishing a vibrant space where guests can enjoy good food, live music, and great company. Our goal was to develop a distinctive and personality-driven brand that resonates with the local audience while standing out in the competitive hospitality market.
To achieve this, we designed a typographic logo that symbolises the owner's core interests, drawing inspiration from musical notation, cooking elements, and the sense of community. This logo reflects the essence of The Burlam Bear, creating a visual narrative that complements the venue's culture. We extended this branding throughout the interior design, including window artwork and menus, fostering a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, we produced motion content for social media to showcase the venue's lively environment and events, driving community engagement.
The comprehensive branding and digital marketing efforts led to a significant increase in customer engagement compared to the venue's previous ownership. The unique visual identity and targeted SEO strategies enhanced the venue's online presence, drawing in a wider local audience.
